About CPS Infusion
CPS Infusion is dedicated to the administration of complex biologic medical therapies to patients in a comfortable outpatient setting. Intravenous infusion therapy is used to treat individuals who suffer from chronic diseases often treated within the specialties of neurology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and ophthalmology. We partner with physicians in these specialties to arrange and administer the appropriate therapy for patients based on the treatment plan outlined by the referring physician. Our patient centered approach to infusion therapy distinguishes our centers from the often-impersonal setting created in the hospital. In addition to providing compassionate care, our administrative team works with several companies to assist patients with the out of pocket cost of receiving intravenous medication infusions.
CPS Infusion has convenient locations in Alabama and Georgia.
Safe Infusion Therapy
Our dedicated team of infusion nurses has received extensive education on all treatment options offered in our infusion centers which allows us to provide administration of these specialty treatments in the safest manner possible. In addition, each of our locations is supervised by a physician so that any patient issues that arise during therapy can be appropriately managed during each treatment. This peace of mind not only sets patients at ease, it is an added benefit for referring physicians to know that their patients are receiving the best care possible in this specialized treatment setting.
Referral Process
Virtually all patients treated at CPS Infusion are referred to us by specialists within the community. Once the referral is received, our benefits investigation team will verify coverage of the prescribed therapy by the patient’s health insurance plan. We then complete any prior-authorizations or predeterminations required based on each patient’s insurance policy so that once received, treatment can be started as soon as possible.
